Legend Evenness

Overview

Legend Evenness™ is an optimized combination of mineral salts, carbonate hardness, and overall hardness components, which are based on the natural model of most of tropical waters.

Legend Evenness™ is extremely pure, absolutely free of phosphates, nitrites, sodium or chloride and ensures that no undesired by products reach the aquarium water.

The use of Legend Evenness™ not only enriches water with minerals but at the same time also raises the carbonate hardness and overall hardness and thereby increases the buffer capacity of the aquarium water. The pH value is stabilized and the risk of a dangerous pH (acid) crash is reliably avoided.

Legend Evenness™ has the optimal composition to create an ideal environment for healthy and biologically balanced aquarium water. The growth of filter bacteria is encouraged, which improves the reduction of harmful substances in the aquarium. Possible deficiency symptoms caused by the exhaustion of minerals, such as the resulting hole-in-head disease, are avoided and healing is brought about. Reverse osmosis water as well as other soft waters are converted into the ideal starter water for properly keeping and breeding all types of freshwater fish. Reverse osmosis water or fully demineralized water treated with Legend Evenness™ represents an overall ion distribution clearly more in line with nature than ever possible with plain tap water and your freshwater fish will reflect this positive change as well. Legend Evenness™ contains only calcium, magnesium, and potassium salts, which aid in fish metabolism but are also highly beneficial to plant growth.

Dosage

To raise mineral content/general hardness (GH) by 1 meq/L (3 dH), add 16 g (1 tablespoon) for every 80 L (20 US gallons) when setting up an aquarium or when making water changes (add to new water). For optimum solubility, we recommend mixing with 1L (1 qt.) of water (the resulting mixture will have a white opaque appearance). When this mixture is added to the aquarium it will impart a slight haze that should clear within 15–30 minutes.

Plant preferences vary, but a general guide is about 1–2 meq/L (3–6 dH) or match the existing or target carbonate hardness (KH), which, ideally, is also about 1–2 meq/L (3–6 dKH). Legend Evenness™ will compact with age, but remains effective.

Recomandation

Do not use Evenness™ when replacing evaporated water. This dose is based on DI or RO water; for other water, measure hardness (GH) first, then add according to need. For precise dosing, use the Legend® measuring cup (10mL) or measuring spoon (5mL)
