  1. Water changes should become a habit, 50% weekly.
Through these water changes you reduce a series of unwanted amounts of substances, minerals, vitamins resulting from feeding/decomposing wood, stones and plants or from fish excrement.
  2. Siphoning the substrate is done at the same time as the water change and helps to eliminate the deposits on the substrate of those presented above. It must be siphoned very well but without touching (winding the substrate), siphon all areas at all water changes
  3. cutting the plants or the dead leaves of the plants is done as often as needed. By trimming the plants, a much better water circulation is ensured and it helps the filter to pull the dirt accumulated on the substrate or at the base of the decorative elements.
  4. Cleaning the filter and the filter material. It must be done more often when you have problems with algae and especially with BBA in the present case, every 3 months. after you get rid of the BBA problems, clean the filter every 6 months. Cleaning the filter material with water removed from the aquarium in a bucket.
  5. The treatment with Legend Avernus AlBlackEX is done during water changes when the aquarium is half empty using the syringe, with which you approach the affected areas and sprinkle with the solution.

You can treat every 24 hours, it is done with the aquarium full of water, by inserting your hand into the aquarium and using the same treatment method as above.

6. In the following days of treatment, you will notice a change in color of BBA in a whitish color, this is a sign that BBA is dying, use a brush to remove those remains by rubbing that area.
